The Turbo Levo 4 Comp Alloy is the full-power do-it-all trail e-MTB for the rider who wants maximum motor and battery to climb and descend all day. At $7,000 it's aimed at serious trail riders who value capability over weight. Anyone chasing the light, natural feel of an SL e-MTB, or a lower price, should look elsewhere — this is an unapologetically powerful, heavier machine built to get more done per ride.
The 9.3 is anchored by motor and range: the 101 Nm Specialized 3.1 and a huge 840Wh battery are class-leading on those two criteria, and adjustable geometry plus SWAT in-frame storage and mullet wheels lift ride quality and versatility. SRAM DB8 4-piston hydraulics cover brakes and safety on serious terrain. The honest weaknesses the whatWedChange names are the score's ceiling — at ~53 lb it's heavier than lightweight SL e-MTBs, and the alloy frame is a step down from the carbon trims.
The compromise is weight and frame material for enormous power and range. If you want to climb and descend everything without range math, that's a great trade. If you'd rather have a bike that rides like a normal trail bike, the lightweight Levo SL or Trek Fuel EXe are ten-plus pounds lighter with a natural feel — at far shorter range and much less climbing grunt than this full-power Levo delivers.
