Our verdict
By Sean Lupton · July 10, 2026 · Scored 7.9/10 against how we test
The EVRYjourney Electric is a comfort cruiser for the casual rider who wants an easy, upright step-through for beach-town and neighborhood loops. At $1,899 it's an approachable, affordable entry to relaxed riding. Anyone who wants refined assist, strong wet-weather braking, or performance for hills and commuting should look elsewhere — this bike is built for gentle, low-speed comfort, not spirited or all-weather use.
The 7.9 reflects easy geometry but budget hardware: the relaxed step-through with swept bars is genuinely easy to mount, and throttle plus pedal assist suits casual riding, which helps ride quality for its purpose. The weaknesses the whatWedChange names are what hold the score down across two key criteria — mechanical disc brakes rather than hydraulics, a real brakes-and-safety limitation in the wet, and cadence-style delivery with budget components that keep the motor-power score modest.
The compromise is refinement and stopping power for approachable comfort at a fair price. If your rides are flat, dry and unhurried, it does the job pleasantly. If you want the same relaxed step-through with hydraulic brakes and dealer service behind it, the Pedego Boomerang Plus is a smoother, better-stopping cruiser — at nearly twice the price the EVRYjourney was built to undercut.
