Aventon Files for $250M IPO on Nasdaq
The Ontario, California-based brand confirmed the filing in an S-1 document released this week. The IPO would be the first major e-bike company listing on a US exchange.

Aventon, the Ontario, California-based e-bike brand, filed an S-1 registration statement with the SEC this week, indicating its intent to raise up to $250 million through an initial public offering on the Nasdaq Global Select Market under the ticker AVTN.
If completed, the IPO would be the first major US e-bike company to list on a US exchange. Aventon competes primarily in the mid-market DTC segment with the Level, Aventure, and Sinch product lines, and has expanded steadily into independent dealer distribution over the last 18 months.
The S-1 disclosed FY2025 revenue of approximately $310 million, up 28% year-over-year, with positive adjusted EBITDA for the first time in the company's history. The filing also disclosed a substantial advertising-spend ratio (≈18% of revenue) and a heavy dependency on a small number of contract manufacturing partners in Asia.
Market reception will be closely watched. A successful Aventon IPO would set valuation precedent for the broader US e-bike sector and could accelerate filings from peers Lectric, Super 73, and the European-headquartered VanMoof successor.
