ElectricBikes.com take
The Higgs ST is MURF's lightest fat-tire bike, the least expensive of these three, and the easiest to get on. The 52-volt system gives it punchy acceleration for its size. It's a single-speed with no suspension, so it suits beach paths, town errands and shorter riders more than long hilly commutes or rough trails.
Key features, as MURF lists them
- 52-volt battery system on a compact 20-inch fat-tire frame
- Low step-thru frame for riders from 4'11"
- Switchable Class 2 / Class 3
- Hydraulic disc brakes
- UL 2849 / 2271 and IPX6
Good for
Shorter riders, beach and neighborhood riding, errands.
Watch-outs

What other reviewers say
tested an earlier version (listed then at 500 W nominal, 65 lb); 68 miles on one charge in their low-assist range test; brakes stopped superbly; some ghost pedaling from the single-speed gearing; faux-leather grips slipped in the heat.
