What we love
- Torque sensor and 1,440W peak on a $1,999 fat tire
- Suspension seatpost as standard, not an upsell
- 400 lb payload and UL 2271 certification
What we'd change
- 76 lbs
- 8-speed Altus is working hard behind an 80 Nm motor
Our verdict
By Sean Lupton · August 12, 2026 · Scored 8.7/10 against how we score

The Aventure 3 is the bike that makes the Aventure.2 hard to recommend: more peak power, a bigger battery and a suspension seatpost, at the same $1,999.
It earns 8.7 on value and safety. A torque sensor, 1,440W peak, a 400 lb payload and UL 2271 certification on a $1,999 fat tire is a combination almost nobody else hits, and the suspension seatpost — normally an accessory upsell — meaningfully changes comfort on a rigid-framed fat bike. It gives back points on weight and drivetrain: 76 lbs is a lot to manoeuvre, and an 8-speed Altus behind 80 Nm will wear.
The default recommendation in budget fat tire, unless you ride real hills — in which case look at the Aventure M.
