Tire repair & sealant kit

How you fix a flat depends on your tires. If you run tubeless, liquid sealant inside the tire seals most small punctures automatically, and a plug kit (a rubber 'bacon strip' pushed into the hole with an insertion tool) handles bigger cuts without removing the wheel — the fastest roadside fix there is. Top up sealant every few months because it dries out, especially in warm climates.

If you run tubes (most budget e-bikes do), carry a spare tube, two tire levers and a way to inflate — a mini-pump or CO2. E-bike tires are wider and the wheels are heavier, so plan for it: a hand pump rated for the volume, or a couple of CO2 cartridges. Either way, the kit is small enough to live under your saddle permanently so it's there when you need it.
